We Built Temple 13 For You

Freddy Corbin is a Bay Area artist who began tattooing in 1987 in San Francisco’s Lower Haight. After working at Ed Hardy’s Realistic Studio and Tattoo City, he set out to bring quality tattooing to Oakland by opening Temple Tattoo 13 in 1998, followed by Tattoo 13 in 2000. In 2025, Freddy decided to merge both shops into one larger, upgraded space with a single goal: to provide high-quality tattooing in all styles, in a clean, professional, and welcoming environment. With over 100 years of combined experience among our artists, we’re proud to serve Oakland’s finest.

  • Who are the artists at Temple Tattoo 13?

    Please note that a deposit is required when setting up an appointment.

    • Deposits for tattoos are $60.

    Deposits go toward the price of the service. It's not an extra charge.


    Deposits are not refundable, but the appointment can be rescheduled with the same deposit if given a 24 hour notice.

  • Do you take walk-ins?

    Yes, we take walk-ins whenever we are able to! Walk-ins are first come, first served. If all artists are busy tattooing, we can schedule an appointment for you at a later time.

  • How do I make an appointment?

    The easiest, fastest way to make an appointment is to come to the shop and speak to an artist directly. You can also reach out to your preferred artist via email or Instagram and set up a consultation or appointment. All appointments require a deposit, which will come out of the total cost of the tattoo.
